In this introductory class, we will begin to learn how by accessing our intuition, and innate understanding of signs and symbols we can recognize patterns and meaning in the major and minor arcana. By utilizing the esoteric tool of the tarot we can find a deeper connection to ourselves- and build a bridge to a higher perspective, and the exoteric symbolism in world around us. It is not necessary for someone to study each and every card in order to deliver an effective reading, what is most important is how they intuitively and symbolically interpret what each card represents in the position they draw it in, and how it relates to the energy of the person they are reading for.
In this two hour class we still begin with the fools journey through the first 22 cards of the Rider-Waite deck, although owning this deck in not mandatory it is encouraged and can be found online, as well as at most tarot stores around the city (ie. Happy Soul, The Rock Store).
